The RAF Association (RAFA) is a membership organisation for serving and former members of the Royal Air Force and like minded people.
It is a network of approximately 80,000 members, over 500 RAFA Branches and about 800 volunteer Welfare Officers
It is an independent registered charity relying on public support. The money raised from our annual Wings Appeal and other fundraising activities go to support our welfare services, which includes support visits, respite breaks, convalescence, residential care and sheltered housing.
From World War II, through to the conflicts in the Falklands, Bosnia, the Gulf, Afganistan or wherever, the RAF Association continues to provide its welfare services to serving and past members of our Air Forces, their spouses and their dependents.
The Melksham branch is a very active branch, with regular fund raising and social events.
